FreshBox - visual identity & positioning
For this project we’ve created an entire brand identity for Freshbox - a new start-up that delivers vegan meal-kits that make it easy to prepare food for busy families that still want to eat healthy. We started out with a detailed case study – see bottom of page - to look at their strengths and weaknesses to establish some effective ways of positioning the brand. The main objective for this project was to position Freshbox in a unique way, and to set them apart from other big players in this industry – which there are a plenty of - and communicating their values very clearly since they wanted to attract a specific niche of customers. Our biggest challenge was that our client didn’t want us to use frequently used colors and shapes that other big players already used – since most vegan food businesses already use green. We overcame this challenge by using illustrations, images and texts in a way that made it very self-evident that Freshbox delivers vegan meal-kits, even though we used unfamiliar colors for this industry.
